Handmade in the shed was born by chance back in 2013.

It all started by making some simple pebble footprints on the beach with my son and some dear friends. I then made my first footprint picture as a keepsake to remind them of their visit to Hornsea. Once my son started school this little spark of an idea turned into a daydream of a business.

The rest is history and since then I have created various pebble families, countless couples ‘Watching the world go by’ and have been challenged into making gifts of friendship, for births, weddings, christenings and special birthdays.

The list is endless, ever growing, ever challenging. Each picture is unique and made with love and care. My Father (the true genius in the shed) is on hand to make the majority of the frames meaning it’s a true family affair.

My work is constantly evolving and we now branch off in many directions. I’m involved in many creative projects and each week brings with it new and exciting challenges. I move between creating bespoke Pebble pictures to planning weddings, from creating tiny wooden driftwood houses to making ‘Hornsea Life’ cards using photographs of the sea and Hornsea Mere.

Whether it's pebbles, driftwood houses, floristry, photography or party planning I’m living a wonderful life adapting and going where ever my creative talents are required. I’m very lucky to live this life.

With love and thanks for your interest and support.
